Below is our agenda for the day. I want you to keep this window open for the entire day (drop it in your doc until you need it). The purpose of this document is for us to share ideas. Start by adding (aha) thoughts under each topic we learn about. For example, "This would be a great tool for...". Have a question? write it down under the topic, and maybe someone can answer it for you. There are no right or wrong ideas. Dont be afraid to collaborate your ideas here!
You know the phrase, "Begin with the end in mind?" Well, I want you to, "Begin with an open mind!" Not all tools will benefit you or your classroom. Please have an open mind as we take the web 2.0 plunge!
Please hold all questions as we’ll probably answer them along the way. I will open it up for questions before we move to the next topic. What we do today is only to spark you interest, not for mastery. I will point you to as many tutorials and resource locations to help you learn more about these tools. If you have a question, put it on this google doc we started under it's topic.
I ask that you do not open your email accounts or personal web sites until lunch. We will cover a lot of information during the day. You won’t remember everything! If you get distracted you will easily get off track. "Take in" as much as you can.
